Performed by ArtsPower National Touring Theatre, New York. The critically acclaimed ArtsPower brings us the tale of Harry, the dog who hates to take a bath. Harry is a little white dog with black spots who hates baths so much that he runs away. After a wonderful day spent playing in the dirt, Harry gets so grubby that he turns into a little black dog with white spots. When he returns home, his family doesn’t even recognize him! This new musical captures both the whimsical humor and touching dedication to family found in the popular book by Gene Zion. It will delight youngsters and adults, while showing what it means to be part of a family (and learning the importance of bathing!). Recommended for grades PK-1. Performed by the Kennedy Center Theatre for Young Audiences on Tour. The Kennedy Center, famous for its Broadway quality and big productions, brings an exciting musical based on the popular book by Norton Juster, with lyrics by Pulitzer Prize winner, Sheldon Harnick . The Phantom Tollbooth is on middle school reading lists, and this production will greatly enhance students’ enjoyment of the book. It’s given full musical treatment in telling the tale of Milo, a chronically bored boy who must save the princesses Rhyme and Reason, and successfully bring harmony to the Land of Wisdom. Performed by Ballet Florida. Ballet Florida brings us a zany, romantic, delightful production of everyone's favorite fairy tale. With beautiful music by the Russian composer, Prokofiev, and a wonderfully talented company of dancers, there are laugh-out-loud moments with the foolish, hopelessly awkward "wicked" stepsisters and lovely, "happily ever after" moments with Cinderella and her prince. This is a fine opportunity for students to experience a delightful introduction to music and dance. Recommended for grades 1-5.

The Hudson Vagabond Puppets brings the amazing metamorphosis from egg to caterpillar to butterfly in a fascinating production with giant puppets in song and dance. Students will follow the 1500 mile journey of the monarch butterfly to Mexico, meeting dozens of other characters from the insect world. The show has received funding from the Jim Hensen Foundation, and we are thrilled to have such a wonderful introduction to science for little ones. Recommended for PK-2.
